Just a sampling of the many Project Linus events in 2021 that we host here at PLACE

(Project Linus Activity Center Extraordinaire).

In the news...

On March 23, 2021 the article "Project Linus provides handmade blankets to bring comfort to sick children" was published in The Ligonier Echo.  It spotlights the enthusiastic blanketeers at the Heritage United Methodist Church.  Click here to see the excerpt of that article.

Then on December 15, 2021 the article "Project Linus provides blankets to children in crisis" appeared in the Observer-Reporter.  The piece reports on the impact Project Linus as had in Washington and Greene counties as well as the Mon Valley.  Click here to see a copy of that article.

Donations received

We have struggled financially since the March '20 shutdown of the storefront. Traditionally we had three events yearly with BNY Mellon employees, however we had no BNY Mellon events in '20 nor '21.  In addition, the Kohls initiative generated less money than pre-Covid.  Because of these setbacks we are especially appreciative of the generous donations we received in 2021.  To see the list of donations Click here.
